The Department of Chemistry at the University at Buffalo (UB), The State University of New York (SUNY) invites applications for a full time tenure-track faculty position in the field of Analytical/Bioanalytical Chemistry at the Assistant Professor level to begin in Fall 2014.
All areas of analytical/bioanalytical chemistry will be considered; however, areas of preference would include those with research interest that complement the current research efforts in the department (www.chemistry.buffalo.edu). The successful candidate will contribute to the department and university’s mission through research, teaching, and service. The Assistant Professor is expected to develop a vigorous and externally funded research program, teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will provide service to the department, university, and his/her discipline. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in chemistry or closely related discipline; postdoctoral research experience is preferable.
