Department of chemistry, Mahendra Morang Adarsh Multiple Campus (MMAMC) and Brainycube research organization organized a Global Workshop on Recent Research Techniques (GWRRT) in Nepal. GWRRT 2014 was a two day international workshop held at MMAMC, Biratnagar, Nepal on 26- 27 December.

The main theme of GWRRT2014 was to inspire and train new generation of scientists and engineers focusing on research techniques such as choosing appropriate research ideas, proposal writing, publishing in peer reviewed journals, presentation skills, research methodology etc. Around two hundred fifty students, scholars and faculties participated in the workshop including 18 scientists and professors from physics, chemistry, biology, medical science, engineering, and mathematics. Experts were from reputed universities and research centers from Nepal and India.

The GWRRT2014 was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Chet Raj Bhattathe, Assistant Dean of Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University.

During GWRRT2014 inauguration ceremony Department of Chemistry, MMAMC, Biratnagar honored Dr. Rameshwor Adhikari, Dr. Hemu Kharel Kafle, Dr. Ajaya Bhattarai, Mr. Sujit Kumar Shah and Mr. Akash Deo for their contribution to science and technology in Nepal.
